Dhandowal Welfare Organization (DWO) is a Social Welfare Committee founded by NRIs with a mission to undertake welfare works like Promoting Religion Sports especially Kabbaddi,Promoting Education and Sponsoring needy Children and Distribution of Pensions amongst the widows.

Dhandowal Welfare Organization (DWO) is a growing organization whos recognition is Specifically for Arranging Kabbaddi Tournament in The First Weeks of January Every year from past decades. DWO is well funded by the team of NRIs who not only want to keep attached to their roots but also want to give back what they have earned in the shape of time, money and knowledge.

Dhandowal Welfare Organization (DWO) is basically floated by NRIs from DHANDOWAL Village, Tehsil, Shahkot and Distt. Nakodar, INDIA.Promoters from time to time come down to the village to ensure the Projects Undertaken are being implemented in a effective manner.

Though the Major Contribution to the Organization is by Non Resident Indians but the Locales are motivated to be the Leaders in managing the Events like Gurudwara Sahib's KAR SEWA, KABBADDI TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT and Pension Distribution along with the sponsorships.
